Bringing together key groups.

Wisconsin has historically been home to many major industries, including forest products, printing, agribusiness, and tourism to name a few. Support of these key industry clusters is imperative to maintaining our state’s business health. In addition, we must look forward to new and emerging industries such as information technologies and biomedical technologies.

Competitive Wisconsin is working to build a common voice and common direction for these different business clusters, through collaborative meetings where ideas and challenges can be exchanged, and direction can be given to the changes needed to sustain the health of these major employers in our state.

On November 3, 2010 the first of these key collaborative meetings was held at Quad Graphics headquarters in Sussex, Wisconsin. Moving forward, additional cluster group meetings will be convened across the state to ensure a voice for these key business segments.
