About Bill

William McCoshen is the senior vice president of Capitol Consultants, Inc., a leading lobbying firm specializing in government relations, public affairs and issue-based grassroots advocacy. Before joining Capitol Consultants, Bill was appointed by Gov. Tommy Thompson to be the first Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce in state history. He played a major role in assisting businesses, communities and citizens with financing and economic development programs. He also served as Gov. Thompson’s chief of staff, executive assistant, policy director and legislative liaison.
